Lazy days....

Sorry for the slack of posting. I'll try to get on a schedule now. I broke my cell & got the new iPhone 4s so I have no reason now :)

My heart is heavy....

I have had my friend Michelle on my mind all weekend, her mom is in the hospital & they think she is brain dead. Its so hard to even have to wrap your mind around something like that ! I hope that Michelle & her family can find strength in these times.

Let the new year begin....

2011 has been a blessing for me !
I am excited about what 2012 is going to have in store.
I have so many new opportunities coming up, trying new things. 
Teaming up with another photographer to do some boudiour sessions.

Im thankful for how far I have came but its nothing compared to where I am going !!!

Thankful...

I am so thankful that opportunities just keep coming my way for me to do what I love doing so much ! I am blessed :)
I have a photo shoot today with 11 people, which is a first for me but I love challenges !!

My life & how I became the person I am today....

Late at night while everybody is sleeping & I can't.  I find that its the time when I sit and think about how thankful I am for where I am in my life and who is in my life.
I have been blessed with three beautiful girls, which aren't kids anymore. They have been such a blessing in my life and I am so proud of what they have become in thiers.

My dad-Jake. He just had his third brain tumor removal surgery 1 week ago. Needless to say he is back to work already ! He is the strongest person that I know. 

I am so proud to call him my father & thankful that I took after him in so many ways.

My mom-Joan. She has been the stitch that has held our family together all these years. She loved me even when I didn't love myself. I have been truly blessed to have such a caring & loving mother.

My wonderful husband-Mike

Mike is my soulmate, he was my first love when I was 15 years old.

We had to go through things in life together that teenagers shouldn't have to face. 

He lost both of his parents while we were dating & he has always said that I saved him and that he wouldn't be alive today if I wasn't there for him.  We remained friends over all the years and finally got back together a few years ago. He saved me from myself !! He is my rock & he loves me & the girls so much. It is an awesome feeling to be married to your best friend.

I am also thankful for a very special lady in my life. I have NEVER been affected by one person as I have this one-Michelle Laprade.
She is a local photographer in our area, somehow I was able to get a free session from her (I dont even remember how) & we scheduled our session. We went to have our pictures taken & it was even before I knew how much work was actually involved in photography. I took her a card with $50.00 stuck in it and handed it to her when our session was done.
When the week or so was over & I went to Michelle's house to look at our pics, I was FOREVER changed by talking to her.
I probably cant even express how I was changed but when I left Michelle's house, I became a different person.  Listening to Michelle's life story and to see what she has become and accomplished made me believe in life, dreams and showed me to have faith in people again. 
I then decided to follow a passion that I had always had and that was photography. Michelle has always encouraged me to chase my dreams. 
Everybody needs somebody to help them along in life and I want to give a shout out to Michelle Laprade for being my angel here on earth !!
I love that girl & she is such an inspiration..........



Blessed

I have been blessed to be able to catch so many memories for different people this year.  I think 2012 will be even more exciting.
Every time that I take pictures its a learning experience for me.
